Caring for the environment and aiming to encourage the sustainable development, "Antidote" Foundation prepares a public education programme for environmental protection. The implementation of the educational projects is carried out in partnership with the interested institutions, schools and other non-governmental organizations.
The environmental education programmes are aimed at young people and integrate the best European practices and models for transferring environmental knowledge and ecological culture, for building values, responsible attitude, ability for critical thinking and behaviour and personal initiative for the benefit of preserving the environment and the society.
The ecological education programmes prepared by Antidote Foundation are focused towards the environment and its relationship with the economic and social life. The implementation of the programmes includes environment protection practical projects as well as initiating events for:
- Preserving the natural resources
- water – effective water consumption and preservation of water sources;
- energy
- effective electrical consumption without a lack of the modern life comfort;
- electricity – faithful servant or insidious enemy
- transport – green vehicles.
